The Computer Science and Engineering Department, part of the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers from University Politehnica from Bucharest, is partner in the ERASMUS+, KA2 project “Strategic Support on Strengthening the Quality Assurance Structures at the Private Higher Education Institutions in Albania” (QAinAL). The project is coordinated by the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria and its website is http://qainal.eu.

At the end of May (28 - 30), the project team participated in a training held at University of Genova, where some of the ANVUR (Agency for Evaluation and University and Research System) regulations were presented. We also found out about the A.V.A. System, a unified self-evaluation, periodical evaluation and accredittation system for the whole Italian University System. One of the interesting outcomes of this meeting is the regulations for developing a new study programm: programm sustainability (.82 * Ordinary Financial Fund + Student's Fee + costs for location ) / (staff costs + amortization) should be close to 1 and to have enough proffesors and educational planning. Another interesting thing is that the proffesors should provide every 5 years the titles of their best 2 papers written in these 5 years and they are nationally evaluated and ranked based on this information.
